Agtivity | Advancing the Science of Software Agent Technology

Definition: Blog Technology

By Jack Krupansky

Blog technology is an umbrella term that subsumes all technical aspects of blogging or web logging, including web logs or blogs, blog feeds, blog sites, blog portals, etc.

The significance for software agents is that blogs are everywhere and only increasing in popularity, so they're going to be a significant portion of the information sources available in the online computing environment.

In fact, XML-based blog feeds appear poised to be an excellent source of streamed information.

Singular of blog technologies.
