JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) is a simple data-interchange text format for structured objects that is easy for both humans and computer software to read and write and is based on a subset of the JavaScript programming language that is reasonably language independent but reasonably compatible with the C and C++-like languages such as C#, Java, as well as Perl, and Python.
